General FAQ

1. Do you make custom keychains?
Custom keychains are possible only for key tags (i.e. not the key fobs, key chains, jet tags). If you have an idea for a future keychain, feel free to suggest and I'll see if it's possible in future!

2. Do you do bulk orders?
I sure do for select products such as keychains, tea towels, socks, etc. With discounted pricing for bulk orders, each will be done on a case by case basis. Please reach out if you are interested in such! 

3. I own a retail store and want to carry The Ambivalent Press products - would that be possible?
Certainly! Please contact me directly for that. 

 

4. Do you accept returns?
Unfortunately I do not.

 

5. What is your refund policy?
Please check your order items once received and contact me immediately should they be damaged, defective or if I had sent the wrong item. All items are checked thoroughly by myself before shipping. Refunds will only be done on a case-by-case basis.

 

Shipping FAQ

1. Where is The Ambivalent Press located? Do you ship worldwide?

We are located all the way here in ☼ Singapore ☼ and ship worldwide to most countries. Please contact me if you are unable to see your selected country when checking out. 

Note for our German friends: We currently do not ship to Germany due to Germany's VerpackG (Packaging Act). However, you may still purchase from our Etsy store as we are compliant with the Act's requirements through Etsy!

 

2. How long will my order take (before mailing)?

Processing (lasering your mugs/key tags, packing your order, printing shipping labels, etc.) takes about 1-3 business days before it is dropped off at the post office.

 

3. What are your shipping options and estimated times?

• Local orders (Singapore): All local orders (except paper products) are shipped via SingPost's Smartpac envelopes (includes tracking and delivery to letterbox, 1-3 business days)
  
  
• International orders: We use SingaporePost for sending out orders. Normal Airmail (no tracking, 7 days to 30 days), Registered Airmail (with tracking, 7 days to 30 days). Expedited shipping is unavailable as the costs are not at all economical for small packages.
  
  
• Note: As we are located in Singapore, shipping times can take as quickly as a week to as long as two months (rare). Times will depend on the destination country and the efficiency of the destination country's postal service. It's important to note that these are general estimates, and actual delivery times can vary based on unforeseen circumstances, such as customs delays, weather conditions, or logistical challenges. 
  
  

4. Your shipping costs are really high!

Unfortunately, that's the reality of international shipping these days and is beyond our control. We try to keep costs as low as possible where we can.

 

5. I had to pay taxes/duties when my package arrived. Will The Ambivalent Press provide a refund for these?

All international parcels will be sent out via Singapore Post. Please note that we are not responsible for any taxes/duties/fees imposed by your countries' customs office. All taxes and duties charged by your country's customs office have to be borne by you. 

 

6. I never received my order. What can I do?

Mail loss, while rare, is inevitable sometimes. Purchasing the tracked Registered Airmail shipping option will provide a better picture on where the package could be. However, it does not guarantee delivery.

Once your package has been handed over to Singapore Post, it is under their responsibility. The Ambivalent Press shall not be responsible for any lost packages if substantial proof of delivery can be provided.

In the unlikely event that your order is still undelivered 2 months from the ship date, please contact me (thelochnell@gmail.com) and we will work something out!
