About Me

Hello, my name is Janell and I'm the maker behind The Ambivalent Press. I started TAP when I was in university, and began with zines and badges (hence the name!). It was where I could dream of ideas one night and have them become tangible products the next day. Over the years, my shop has grown to become a quirky emporium, with things from mini mugs to tea towels to keychains. 

I like to create quirky items inspired by film, television, mental wellness and adventure. I design products that seek to subtly show your quirky interests and invite a 'Hey, you love San Junipero too?!' from a fellow quirky person. Ah, the beauty of a shared love.
